OHENRY (Chad Villarreal) is a multi-instrumentalist singer/songwriter originally from Southern CA making upbeat eclectic records and a name for himself in Nashville TN. 

OHENRY released his newest EP "Musings from an Island" June 2026.  This album showcases OHENRY'S love of musical diversity, wit and energy his fans have come to anticipate. OHENRY can be heard playing over 6 instruments, as well as harmonizing on his tracks.

Prior to "Musings from an Island", OHENRY forged his own style with his first full length album "Sugar for Grandad".  He followed that with "American Cheese", a 5 track tongue-in-cheek americana album with a Rockabilly cover of Marc Anthony's hit "I Need to Know.

OHENRY has an extensive background in the industry. Forever the band geek, he earned a degree in jazz & concert percussion. During his studies, he embraced meeting new people and learning new musical styles. 

After finding his voice (literally), singing while drumming quickly became his signature.

His passion and talent would find him a member of several bands. He sang lead for progressive/funk trio Shoppy; co-founded SLANG, a funk/soul quintet, and created harmony and backbeat for pop folk duo Coleslaw. 

While playing in bands, he was writing, producing, and earning his Culinary Degree.

When OHENRY was asked how he had time for it all, he responded with a quote from one of his first loves...sitcom TV. 

"Honey, there's only 24 hrs in a day."

Honey: "Then, I'll just have to use them all."

"Use them all" is an apt phrase for what you'll see when you take in an OHENRY show. Guitar, Bass, Drums, Singing and even Kazoo.
